Join Hill East Burger Sat 3/16 for a special event in support of friends and family in Gaza. Stories and fundraisers for various Gazaoui families will be uplifted and highlighted to help them reach safety, access vital humanitarian aid, and stay connected to the internet through electronic SIM cards.

Join us anytime between 11a-4p at Hill East Burger. At each table you’ll find the story of a Gazaoui family who needs our support to reach safety, along with QR codes to easily donate to them. There will also be opportunities to donate to trusted mutual aid funds that are delivering vital aid to displaced refugees in Gaza and eSIMs to keep them connected to the internet.

In addition to your direct donations, Hill East Burger will contribute 10% of all food & beverage sales during the event to the Gaza Emergency Fund, a trusted mutual aid initiative.

Specials by Palestinian Chef Marcelle Afram of @shababidc, including the Shababi Fried Chicken Sandwich and Marcelle’s Za’atar Fries, will be featured.

This event is hosted by Anam Raheem, creative writer and former employee of Gaza-based tech hub @gazaskygeeks, and Veronica Jones, a designer and mentor for Gaza Sky Geeks.
