Horrors continue to be enacted in Palestine by the Zionist regime and its supporters, including the US government. We have to continue to push to end the genocide and the occupation. 

And, right now, thousands of families are trying to escape and need our help, including money, to survive. 

Some of us have sent money already — to GoFundMes, to eSIMs, to the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund. That's a beautiful act of solidarity and mutual aid! And, sometimes, some of us don't know how much to send when rent and grocery prices at home are higher than they've ever been. When we want to protect our own families and local communities. When unexpected expenses come up all the time. 

River doesn't claim to have all the answers, but they do have frameworks to offer, so that we can make intentional choices with the resources that we each have the responsibility to steward. The money you have access to today is probably finite, so you need to decide how much to put toward each need — and then you'll have to make that decision again with the money you'll have tomorrow.
