Join Muslim Counterpublics Lab (MCL) to learn more about their mission to disrupt and subvert dehumanizing narratives that are designed and deployed to justify state violence against Muslims. Their vision is to create a world where Muslims and all marginalized communities have political, social, and economic power to build societies rooted in liberation instead of oppression.

In addition to good food and conversation, the evening will feature the premier of their online exhibition, “Shattering Justice & Re-Making the Muslim Threat” — a living, dynamic digital timeline illustrating the construction, evolution, and impacts of the War on Terror on Muslim and Muslim American communities in a post-9/11 world.

At the Launch Party, MCL will also share its programming for the upcoming months and into 2023.
