WHEN: Although initially we had planned for the picnic to take place on April 13, due to unforeseen circumstances, we must postpone the Eid al Fitr Picnic until Sunday, April 21, 2024. It will take place at 2:00 pm EST.

WHERE: Registering ensures you will receive the location details the morning of the event. Right now, we can let you know that the event will be taking place in Sterling, VA.

FOOD: Please note in your email any food allergies or dietary restrictions, or if you are bringing anything to the picnic.

TRAVEL: We have capacity to provide travel stipends to folks who are not able to get to the location easily on the day of. Please indicate your need in your email, and we will set up a ride for you.

COVID SAFETY: We will have rapid tests available on-site for individuals to utilise if they would like to be certain of their status. There will be children under 12 (unvaccinated) present! Please wear masks (masks will also be available) and practice social distancing. Please only remove masks to eat, drink, or smoke, and do your best to do these activities distanced from one another. If you are wanting to join virtually, this option will be available; please indicate you will need the zoom link in your email.

WEATHER: The forecast expects no rain and slightly cloudy skies. Additionally, the games for the children will also be covered so that they can be enjoyed even if the weather shifts.
